Can You Repair A Lexus At Firestone

Hey guys - not really a mechanical issue here, only looking for advice on getting my money back from FireStone since they screwed me. If information technology needs to be posted somewhere else, please let me know.

Alright i'll try to proceed this every bit short as possible. So commute an hour each way to work everyday, from Lincoln, NE to Quango Bluffs, IA. I bulldoze a 2022 Subaru Legacy 2.5i Premium. Got the car in November with all new tires on it. Loved the vehicle. It had 86k miles on it when i got it as it used to be a company auto for my dad's work (he'southward a drug rep, so lots of highway miles put on the car in a short amount of time). Everything was mechanically sound on the vehicle when i got it. No issues at all.

Fast forward to 2 weeks ago and I got put into the center divider of the interstate when a board fell off of a truck in front of me and i swerved left to miss it, simply the drivers tire caught it and popped and information technology pulled me even farther left and i caught the center divider a bit. Luckily plenty it was rush hour, so i wasn't going very fast and all it did was scrape upwards both of my driver's side wheels (forth with the popped driver'southward forepart tire).

The Brakes Plus i become to if i need work done is close to my piece of work, and the manager there has never washed me wrong. Always washed quality piece of work. I would have taken information technology to him to get new tires, but i was already closer to domicile and didn't want to bulldoze on the donut tire all the way back to my work and it was already night time. I stopped at a Firestone shut to where i had the popped tire and he gave me a quote and said to go to a Firestone shop back in Lincoln. First weird thing is that the quote from him does not match the toll on the pecker from the Firestone i concluded upward going to in Lincoln.

The quote from the Firestone shop i stopped at in Omaha that recommended the Firestone on Due north 6th Street in Lincoln. This quote differs from the bill i have from the Firestone in Lincoln i went to.

Did not know that Firestone has a bad reputation prior to me calling them. I had to leave town in 2 days, and so i needed new tires put on the next mean solar day. The Firestone in Lincoln could get new tires installed the side by side 24-hour interval, so i concluded up going with them since i was unaware of the shady work they practice.

Anyways, i get my vehicle back after the new tires are put on, and the tech told me he couldn't quite become the machine dorsum into total alignment, even though he didn't see anything aptitude/broken underneath the car. Then i opted for the lifetime alignment service since the tech said i could have a dented bicycle that was invisible to the naked middle so when i get new wheels i could get them installed and aligned for free. He also said that my one wheel he had to add a decent amount of weight to it to get information technology balanced.

I ended upwards going with opening a credit bill of fare with them since it was vi months deferred interest, and then that my bank account didn't accept a huge one-time hit.

Firestone alignment sheet from the Firestone i went to in Lincoln. My mechanic at Bakes Plus pointed out and circled the caster measurements that the Firestone tech apparently did not even measure.

The bill from the Firestone i went to in Lincoln. Information technology differs from the quote i got from the Firestone in Omaha i stopped at.

So now i have the vehicle, and it still pulls to the left. And then i telephone call my mechanic at Brakes Plus by my work and explain the situation to him. He then tells me that FireStone is known for being shady. Then i accept information technology in to him, and he points out to me that FireStone didn't even examination out the Caster on my car for whatever reason. So he throws it on the alignment rack and tells me that i need a new camber bolt up front commuter'south side because he can't get it inside spec without it. I ask him why and he explained it well to me in saying that something could be slightly bent to where you wouldn't come across it with the naked eye, merely since y'all are working with degrees, the effect of it is more pronounced at higher speed. And so i sympathize that and tell him to become ahead and install the new slant bolts. He took it for a test drive, but doesn't usually become on the interstate, but said that he got it upward to 60 and could take his easily off the steering bicycle and it would go directly. He told me i would demand a lower control arm in the rear driver's side to go information technology back into alignment, merely he said he wouldn't worry most it immediately and i trust him because i always ask him what he would do in my situation.

And so i pay him and leave and it all looks practiced until i get up to interstate speed most 80-85 mph. At this speed, seems like the front of the auto wanders side-to-side a fleck. And then at present i'm thinking that the one bike that the FireStone tech had to add a decent amount of weight to is causing this.

Beak from Brakes Plus in Quango Bluffs.

So essentially FireStone didn't do anything good for me. Had to pay Brakes Plus an extra $215 on top of the $982 i had to pay Firestone just to get my vehicle back to normal.

Am i upward sh*t creek without a paddle or practice you guys remember i can call Firestone Corporate and become my money dorsum? Or at least some of my coin back?

I fastened some pictures of the bills and alignment specs.

Thanks in advance for any input you guys tin can offer!!
